CNN/YouTube Democratic Debate On July 23
Friday, July 06, 2007
Do you have a question you would like to ask the Democrats running for president in 2008? If so you can film your question using your camcorder and it submit it via the YouTube site.I'm hopeful that this format will allow topics that are usually ignored in debates to come to light. If you have an issue that you think is very important that you feel isn't being addressed this is your chance to see that is is addressed.

Americans do not understand the exploitation that we as a Nation have caused over the many decades in the Middle East and of the atrocities that we caused the people of the Middle East and that it is due to this exploitation and the many thousands of innocent Muslim lives our Policies are what have caused the Islam people to hate the West. To any Presidential candidate I ask, "Why is this not discussed and why do we blame the Islams and blame them for being terrorists when it was the West that initially caused the root of the problem by forcing our Policies upon these people and never expected them to say "enough is enough?" Why can't we as a Nation accept what we have done to have caused such a terrible situation in the Middle East today? Afterall, it's due to our Policies that so many hundreds of thousands of innocent people have died, including the people of Islam, not only in Iraq, but in many other Middle Eastern Countries, as well as our brave young men and women that have lost their lives and effected the lives of their families and friends forever? When will we as a Nation accept our portion of the responsibility that our law makers in the Congress, Senate and especially the current Administration accept the responsibility that they bear for the loss of so many innocent lives? How do our law makers sleep at night or are able to laugh in public knowing the misery they have caused so many people? Is this just going to be swept under the carpet like so many other errors our law makers have made over the decades? Rand Zuhlke-Bryant, Placentia, California.
